OPC

Oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs) are glial cells that are found throughout the adult brain and can give rise to new oligodendrocytes. In our dataset, they have a bean-shaped soma with an elongated nucleus, from which many long, smooth and highly branched processes with fine, filopodia-like tips extend. Unlike microglia, their somata contain no lipofuscin inclusions.
